We have gathered answers to the frequently asked questions:

• Kobi - Is it possible to set-up the decreasing plan (where pulse's price decreases with the duration of a call)?
  Yes, the system allows for such a setting, there are no limitations when it comes to variance of tariffication pulses' cost.

• Kobi - Is it possible to account a percent discount?
  Yes, system allows for discounts during the process of tariffication. Discounts can be accounted basing on the type of connection ex. „cellular”, „local” etc. and at the same time the additional discount can be calculated for certain directions. For example: international calls are discounted by 20% generally, but calls to Great Britain by 50%.

• Kobi - Basing on the switchboard settings the business cellular number belonging to „Business Group” are shortened - selected with 5 digits. Is it possible to substitute them with full length cellular numbers?
  Yes. Proper diagram can be prepared, and the system will substitute certain shortened numbers with their full length counterpart

• Kobi - is a presentation of information about connection cost on the phone's display possible?
  Yes, system allows for database access and a special report can be prepared. This information can be displayed on an IP phone display. The cost of last call made or total charge for the current period may be presented. This functionality is available for Cisco CallManager and is provided by a scripted extension.

• Kobi/MultiStreamer - Why cannot I initiate the system service in MS Windows 2008 Server?
  This problem of starting the service from the level of application's interface emerging in Windows 2008/7 comes from user account configuration in the OS. The user with administration privileges is not the Administrator. For that reason to start or stop the system's service one needs to operate “as Administrator” utilising the context menu option or proper setting in the shortcut properties.

• MultiStreamer - With Alcatel 4400 I would like to download tarriffication files form a intranet FTP server. Downloaded files mustn’t be deleted from server. Is there an option to download only the new files without the ones that have been downloaded earlier?
  Yes. In session configuration of FTP client in „FTP client” bookmark, option: „Do not download know data” should be checked. The application will analyse the names and the size of files served by FTP server and only the ones which have been created or updated since last download session. Be aware that during first transmission after checking the option mentioned above, all the files fitting given regular expression will be downloaded regardless of their previous use.

• WebReporter - Why after opening the WebReporter page I receive message: “Unauthorised access ...”?
  The reason for above message is the lack of proper privileges for currently logged-in user (lack of membership to the Kobi users group in local domain or group – depending on server's configuration). Kobi and WebReporter authenticate the user basing on currently utilised user account.
